This is the BBOWT (Berks Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust) reserve for which Martin is volunteer warden. The BBOWT trainees will probably come back later in the year to put their chainsaw training into practice on some of the large willows.<\/p>\n

\nhttp:\/\/www.rbwm.gov.uk\/web\/parks_ockwells.htm<\/a>. By the end of last weekend tree wardens and other groups had planted about half of the trees, so we are going to help finish the job on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Be warned – it’s very, very muddy – Ockwells Park has heavy clay soil. Bring plenty of clean gear for you journey home.<\/p>\n
