COVID-19

There will be no WMCV tasks during Lockdown 3.

Obviously please do not come if you have had any coronavirus type symptoms within the last 7 days.

Here are some other changes to bear in mind:-

  • Please let me know if you intend to come to a task (in the past this hasn’t been necessary). I will be sending an email a few days before the task as usual.
  • Please drive/cycle to the work site by your own vehicle unless you are in the same household or bubble.
  • WMCV averages about 6 people at a task. Should there be more than 6, volunteers may be split into two smaller groups.
  • Please bring your own food and drink. Sorry no tea and Hobnobs for the time being although I will bring some cold water as a backup.
  • Regulars who use WMCV gloves will be asked to keep them.
  • I have bought a squirty hand sanitiser. I also have wipes but they are not anti-viral and are more for cleaning off gunk.
  • I have bought face masks and disposable gloves for use in medical emergencies.
  • As the WMCV tools are only used every two weeks they should be virus-free at the start of the day. Please endeavour to use the same tools throughout the day.
