January 6th	Bray Pit, near Maidenhead
	We shall be cutting down ash saplings at this BBOWT reserve. The land surrounding Bray Pit is largely managed as a meadow, rich in wild flowers, and we are removing the saplings to extend the meadow area. January 20th	Cliveden, near Taplow
	We will be clearing laurel in the woods at the National Estate. Meet in the main car park, through the main gates and up the drive. Grid Ref: 914 850
February 3rd	Lavell’s Lake, Near Hurst
	This will be a coppicing task at a new site to the group. We may be joined by some Tree Wardens. Meet in the car park on Sandford Lane, Hurst, opposite the Black Swan Sailing Club. Grid Ref: 784 728
February 17th	Burnham Beeches, Farnham Common
	Today will be a coppicing task at an old site to the group. Meet at Victory Cross. Grid Ref: 955 850
March 3rd	Bray Pit, Near Maidenhead

March 17th	Braywick Nature Centre, Maidenhead

April 14th	Hemwood Dell, Windsor
	Hemwood Dell is a 2.5 acre area of deciduous woodland. Today we shall be clearing brambles and possibly doing some path construction. Meet in the layby on the south side of Hemwood Road. Grid Ref: 937 756
April 28th	Englemere Pond, near Ascot
	We will be constructing a boardwalk near the lake. Grid Ref: 902 684
May 12th	Long Hill Park, Bracknell (near Chavey Down)
	We shall be doing footpath repairs, improvements and access work. Grid Ref: 894 693
May 26th	Burnham Beeches, Farnham Common
	A few years ago English White Cattle were brought to the Beeches as part of the management plan to restore the woodland grazing areas. We will be rebuilding part of the cattle catching area in the Beeches, near Sir Henry Peaks Drive. We will be building a section of post and rail fence, installing two wooden field gates, and digging in some wooden posts to support their new portable cattle hurdles. Meet at Victory Cross. September 1st	Cocksherd Wood, Burnham
	We shall be using the available fallen timber to make the footpaths motorcycle proof to prevent damage to the path and woodland. Cocksherd Wood is off Dove House Crescent, close to Bangles Wood where we have worked before. Grid Ref: 944 829

October 27th	Shurlock Row pond/Waltham St Lawrence allotments
	Our annual visit to these two sites to carry out maintenance on the pond, and to weed around the trees planted in winter 2000/2001. The time that we spend on each site will depend on the work that needs to be done at the time. Shurlock Row pond is in the triangle at the junction of three roads in the heart of the village. December 8th	Wolf Conservation Trust, Beenham
	Planting with Wolves! European and North American wolves are alive and howling in Berkshire at the Wolf Conservation Trust. We are joining the Tree Wardens and other groups to plant trees which will eventually provide shade for the wolves. Grid Ref: 589 689
December 22nd	Cliveden, near Taplow
	In a little know area of the Cliveden there is an old, neglected orchard whose trees were trained over steel hoops arranged in the shape of a cartwheel. We will be continuing the work to restore the orchard by clearing invasive laurel and trees. Meet in the main car park. Grid Ref: 914 850
