| Easter Sunday 9th April | Making a view at Battlemead |
| We will be cutting “windows” in the hedge next to the Thames that we helped to plant a few years ago. This is to give walkers along the Thames Path a view of any wildlife that comes to Battlemead. If time permits we will also give the trees that we planted to the north of East Field some TLC.

| WMCV were due to join the Friends of Woolley Firs this Coronation weekend Sunday. However, BBOWT have decided to cancel the FoWF task. We have decided to cancel the WMCV task to rather than try and find a different task at short notice. | |

| Hundreds of trees have been planted in Thriftwood in the last couple of years. Now that spring has sprung it it possible to tell which of these are still alive. We will be removing the tree guards from the dead whips and weeding the live ones.

| We helped to plant trees on the northern boundary of East Field at Battlmead a couple of years ago. Today we are going to weed the trees, some of which are being engulfed by nettles and cleavers.
