July 18th Bray Pit, near Maidenhead
Bray Pit is a BBOWT reserve for which Martin is the
volunteer warden. As a change from our normal type of
work we are going to carry out a survey and/or collect

rattle seed. No experience required for the survey!

August 29th Bog Lane near Savernake Park, Bracknell
The stream which runs through the site is quite
overgrown with bushes and trees growing into the
stream. We are going to open up and clear out the

stream.

Bog Lane is off of New Forest Ride (B3430). Coming from
North Bracknell at the fourth roundabout after the junction
with the A329 take the second left which is Bog Lane. It is
a small lane which runs parallel to the forest and goes down
to the Thames Water Sewage Utility. Park at the end of the
lane on the left so as not to block access to Thames Water.

September 12th Wildmoor Heath near Crowthorne
Wildmoor Heath is a valuable remnant of Berkshire
heathland and bog. We’ll be clearing the heathland of
invasive saplings.

is one of the few areas of lowland heathland in Buckinghamshire.
